The Umina team withdrew from the Central Coast competition in 1995 but, with the help of a sponsorship from the Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club, have returned for season 1999.

The $50 000 sponsorship will support Umina’s four senior grades and junior teams over the next three seasons.

Umina won the competition in 1994, but had to withdraw in 1995 due to financial hardships.
