Anzac activities
The Ettalong Beach Memorial Club has a special day organised for Anzac Day.
From 4.40am buses travel to the club picking up those wishing to go to the dawn service and then leave the club to go on to Memorial Park at Woy Woy to arrive by 5.20am.
Dawn Service takes place at 5.30am after which the buses return to the club for a free breakfast. The breakfast is served by club management and staff who come in at no pay to do so as a special gesture.
At 9am, buses again take all comers to Woy Woy Memorial Park for the march which commences at Deepwater Plaza at 10am.
A service is held from 10.30am till 11.15am after which, the club’s entertainment centre will open for a special family luncheon and show.
At the same time, the RSL Luncheon commences in the Seaview Room. At 12.30pm, the Anzac variety show commences.
The club will be pleased to see as many members as possible participating in these events on such an important day.
