Third year for line dancers

This is the third year for Peninsula-based line-dancing group The Bayside Strutters.
Founder and head teacher Dianne Joseph sees line-dancing as "a way to exercise while having fun. You don't need a partner and it's not expensive".
Dianne was the first teacher/choreographer from the Central Coast to be inducted into the International Bootscooters Hall of Fame at the 1998 Tamworth Country Music Festival, and her dances can be found on a variety of Bootscootin' Web sites.
The group can be found on Monday mornings and Saturday afternoons at the Peninsula Community Centre, with favourite old dances being included in all classes.
Another class was started at Empire Bay in February and they can be found strutting to country music every Wednesday night. New dancers are always welcome.
Birthday celebrations will culminate in a social night at Gosford RSL on Friday, June 4, and dress will most definitely be country.
For further information on the Strutters, call Dianne on 4328 3747.
