Fireworks is on again

On what may be the last official Queen's Birthday long weekend, the Peninsula will again be celebrating with its annual bonfire and fireworks spectacular.
Sunday June 13 will see the festivities begin at noon in Rogers Park.
The day will feature local entertainers, rides and amusements, art, craft and various food stalls.
At sunset, the huge bonfire will be lit and followed by one of the largest fireworks displays held on the Central Coast.
Replacing the traditional Cracker Night, the event is a highlight on the community events calendar and always attracts large crowds.
Organisers are hoping this year will be no exception and the evening will go off with a bang.
