Station garden admired

Woy Woy rail station’s beautification with camellias may be duplicated around the Central Coast.
Cr Margaret McGowan was impressed enough to ask Council’s director of works if the beautification would be repeated elsewhere.
"(The camellias are) a welcome splash of colour but also provide a prolific autumn source of nectar for native birds," she said.
"Can we hope to see this colourful and ecologically valuable initiative repeated throughout the City?" she asked.
Council’s director of works said he would look into the possibility.
The camellias are in the roundabout opposite the station.
