Plan - Win ensues

Freelance writer and retired Sydney journalist and public relations consultant Eric Shackle, of Ettalong, is author of article about computer-generated anagrams published in Canada's Toronto Globe and Mail.
The paper sells more copies than the Sydney Morning Herald.
Mr Shackle tells his readers the 15 letters forming "The Globe and Mail" can be re-arranged as "Hot, blamed, genial." or else "Hot, maligned, able." or "I am a hell-bent god." or "Am a noble delight."
Likewise, "President Boris Yeltsin" enjoys "Endless insobriety trip," while "The end of the world is nigh" becomes a frantic "Down this hole - frightened!"
And "Eleven plus two" amazingly uses the same letters as "Twelve plus one."
These are just a few of the mind-boggling anagrams that Web browsers can find on the Internet.
The Peninsula's rapidly-growing band of Internet surfers can read the rest of the story by visiting this US website: http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/theglobeandmail.html
The same site also supplies free anagrams of names or phrases e-mailed to it, as does this English site:
http://www.AnagramGenius.com/server.html
Asked to suggest suitable anagrams for the words "Peninsula News", the Anagram Genius offered "New plans in use", "Plan -- Win ensues" and "Use plan in news".
Tested for anagrams of "Peninsula Community Access News", it came back with "Now calm, sunny, sauciest specimen" or "Company's win. Masculine cuteness." or even "Cuteness in company's new musical".
