Leagues Club plans for oval

Woy Woy Leagues Club wants to lease and develop Woy Woy's Number One Oval.
The Director of Corporate and Community Services, Mr Gallagher, has recommended that council grant the lease and agree to a development application.
The council will consider a 21-year lease to the club at a cost of $1000 a year.
Mr Gallagher reported that Woy Woy Leagues Club will also contribute just over $50,000 a year through the Recreation Program.
A resident, Mr Hudson, addressed council regarding his concerns about general public access and use of the oval.
Under the oval's Public Recreation zoning, no single group could use the oval exclusively, he claimed.
