Skate board area may expand

Gosford Council is looking at the possibility of expanding the skateboard area at Umina.
Mayor Cr Chris Holstein has promised to expand the skateboard facilities providing the area is used sensibly and remained undamaged.
Cr Bockholt said if the expansion does take place, she hopes it is done quickly.
She was concerned that if council hired a consultant and formed a committee it would be an unnecessary waste of time and ratepayers' money.
Mayor Holstein said council had not planned a committee at this stage but he did want council and citizen groups to meet.
