Drew St petition

Residents in Drew Street, Woy Woy, have given Gosford Council a petition regarding traffic using their street as a shortcut to James Browne Oval.
The petitioners say drivers are using their cars and motor bikes to push or ram white fences that cut Drew Street off from the oval's carpark.
The petitioners also said that, despite council officers always repairing the fence promptly, the fence now looked very dilapidated.
The petitioners want a stronger fence installed and perhaps some shrubs and trees in front of the fence to provide a deterrent.
