Another year for Rotary

The Rotary Club of Woy Woy has had a good year, according to outgoing president Mr Charles Brock.
The club raised $47,619 for many worthwhile causes locally and to organisations providing special services to help this and neighboring areas.
Major recipients included Parkinson’s NSW Inc ($6200), Ocean Beach SLSC and Umina SLSC ($5250 each).
Other groups to benefit included CAPS and Woy Woy Community Aged Care ($5250 each), Childflight ($4740), Drug Arm Bus ($3000) and The Staples Lookout Project ($1700).
Many other causes also received donations from the club.
The club's world theme for the last 12 months was "Follow your Rotary Dream".
The local theme was "Let’s make the Peninsula a better place to live in".
