Shetland sheepdog obeys

A four-year-old Shetland sheepdog from Umina called Cedine Diamond Dancer, or Teagan for short, has won five out of six obedience trials she has entered around the State recently.
She came second in another.
She travelled to compete against dogs at Penrith, Port Stephens, Castle Hill, Hornsby and Wagga Wagga.
The competition involves heeling the dogs on and off the lead in a pattern set by the judge, standing for examination, and obeying a "stand stay and recall".
A one-minute "sit stay" and a three-minute "down stay" complete each event.
Now having attained her Companion Dog title, Teagan is now training to compete in open for the Companion Dog Excellent title and is entered in the Brisbane Royal contest in August.
Teagan is trained by Sharon Taylor, the proprietor of Pretty Pooches Grooming Salon at Umina.
