Woy Woy South Public School has raised $16,351 from a fun run program held early in Term 2.
Money received through the sponsorship of the children is distributed to Camp Quality and the Environment Education Association.
In 1998, the school was recognised as the top fundraising primary school in New South Wales.
This year's Golden Circle School Fun Run came after an amount of pre-event fitness training across all years in the school.
Another charity supported by the school is the Red Cross.
An emergency appeal went out for the newly-arrived refugees from the war-torn province of Kosovo.
The school community responded with the donation of basic toiletry and laundry items to make the refugees' stay in Australia more comfortable.
