Bush dance

Multi-instrumented band, Currawong, will entertain dancers at the next Central Coast Bush Dance on Saturday, June 26, at the East Gosford Progress Hall.
Bush Dance and Music Association committee member Julie Shannon, of Umina, is looking forward to hearing Currawong sing and play their 17 different instruments.
"We are very lucky to have Currawong for our next dance. They are in great demand elsewhere and we had to book early to make sure that the Central Coast could enjoy their many talents," said Julie.
"They know a huge number of dances and teach each one before it is performed and then call it while the music is playing, so that everyone can join in, even total beginners."
"There's nothing like a multi -talented live band to set a dance alight, " she said.
"The admission price of $12 includes a suprer and gives everyone a chance to enjoy a live part of our heritage."
