Choir to hold concert

The Peninsula Choir will hold its 1999 concert at the Ettalong Beach Memorial Club auditorium on Sunday, August 8, at 2.30pm.
Along with the talents of the Peninsula choir, this year, the concert will feature entertainer, Jenifer Green singing a number of well known gospel songs.
The Peninsula School of Dance will also feature in some of the performances.
Tickets can be purchased from the Ettalong Beach Club at $12 for adults, $8 for concession and children under 12 are free.
The concert is to raise money for the Ministers' Fraternal to support the appointment of scripture teachers at the Peninsula High Schools.
Debra Wales, spokesperson for the Peninsula Community Forum, said: "It is a pleasure to be able to help the Peninsula Choir organise their concert.
"They raise money for this worthwhile project year after year. With the Ettalong Beach Memorial Club’s support, they are able to raise extra funds this year."
