Clean up involved 30 people

 

Roughly 30 people attended the Empire Bay Clean up Australia Day event recently.

Almost a truckload of rubbish was collected, a lot of it coming from Empire Bay Dr.

Local resident thanked Mr John Lorimer who used his truck and his two offsiders who also helped on the day.

The group picked up from collectors and also cleaned up along Empire Bay Dr.

Many other locals walked around the waterfront and streets cleaning.

Participants from the Peninsula Christian Church were also thanked for their help.

Empire Bay School also help a clean up day event at the school with all children involved.
