Objection to waterfront cycling

 

A petition containing 17 signatures has been received by Gosford Council objecting to proposed cyclepaths on Peninsula waterfront reserves.

The reserves mentioned were Fisherman's Wharf to Lions Park at Woy Woy, Lions Park to Blackwall Point at Woy Woy, and Picnic Parade to Ferry Rd at Lance Webb Reserve at Ettalong Beach.

The petition stated that cycleways and footpaths should be alongside existing roads, not through the waterfront reserves.
