Spelling mistake exaggerated

This is a letter to complain about the letter that Mr R Parkin wrote, "Damning with mis-spelt praise", published in the Peninsula News.

Everyone in the Woy Woy Public School community feels that the letter you wrote was appalling.

Not only did you complain about our school, but all the great teachers and the parents who simply drop their children off at the front of our school.

We think that you were over-exaggerating one little spelling mistake.

Everyone in this whole world makes at least one mistake in his or her life.

Are you so perfect that you haven't made a mistake in your life?

Quite frankly, we feel that it is wrong for you to go bad-mouthing our school in the newspaper.

We are a very proud school and love our teachers who work very hard for our education.

We bet you haven't set foot in our school or met any of our teachers.

Some of our teachers have been teaching for over 16 years.

Our school has some of the best teachers on the Central Coast.

We all think that you should find something better to do with your time instead of badmouthing our school.

Marlee Redshaw, Year 4
