More teachers at Woy Woy
Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy campus will have 10 new teachers in 2003.
Eight will come because of an increase in the number of students and two because of a transfer and a retirement.
The new teachers taking up the increase in positions are: Michael Cooper (Maths, from Umina campus); Liz Labberton (English, Umina); Greg Robertson (Industrial Arts, Umina); John Guilford (Social Science, Marsden HS); Jonathon Cobham (PE, The Entrance Campus); Katrina Carson (PE, permanent appointment).
Karen Bramble (Social Science/History) has also been made a permanent appointment to the school.
Ms Jones in Maths is going on long service leave pending retirement at the end of this year.
She will be replaced by John Lawler from Umina campus.
Ms Melville, the teacher librarian, has taken a transfer to Cherrybrook Technology High School, and she will be replaced by Simon Norris from Narara Valley HS.
Other changes are Liz Labberton being second Year 11 Adviser and
Roger Macey being History Coordinator assisting the Head Teacher of Human Society and its Environment.
