Probus clubs not yet full

 

Regarding the article in a September issue of Peninsula News about Probus clubs on the Peninsula not accepting members.

This information was not sought from the Peninsula Probus clubs.

I have spoken to the presidents of Umina's Probus, Everglades Probus and Ettalong Probus and can state that Everglades and Ettalong Probus have their required numbers but Umina and Woy Woy Probus have not their full number and have not rejected applications.

Any further information can be obtained from Umina Probus (president Keith Guy) and Woy Woy Probus (president Frank Pengelly).

I trust this clears up the misinformation given to your September issue.
