Pennant bowls ends |
Pennant grade competition has been finalised at Woy Woy Men's Bowling Club.
The club will once again contest matches in grades three, four, five and six.
Last year, it reached the play off in two grades and narrowly missed out in the others.
The club is without some players from last season but remains undaunted.
Sponsorship has been obtained from UniCom Credit Union at the University of Newcastle, Acorn Garden and Aquarium Centre and Hi-tech Automotive.
Sponsorship will be used to pay for bowls gear and logos on the shirts.
New member Peter Taylor was instrumental in recruiting these additional benefactors for the club.
Semi finals have been run and won by Ralph Davies and Don Cox +1 (over Peter Emery and Ron Smith) and Harold Rimmer and Roy Bolewski +13 who overcame A. Carter and Harry Aulsebrook.
The final will be played in the near future.
