Rotary seeks past members

The Rotary Club of Woy Woy is celebrating 50 years of service and is looking to contact past members who may like to participate in the celebrations.
One of the noticeable signs of Rotary activity are geographic landmarks such as Staples Lookout and the Mt.Ettamylong lookout, which were built by members of the Rotary Club and are now permanent fixtures of our Peninsula.
To commemorate the occasion the club plans to build a monument in Ocean Beach Rd, dedicated to past President Don Leggett.
Mr. Leggett, AM, was also the last Shire president of Gosford and the first Mayor.
A time capsule will be placed within the monument.
A special 50th anniversary dinner will held on 24 June this year.
