Successful finish for judo

Woy Woy Judo Club has finished a successful year, with their entries into the final tournament of NSW judo at the Michael Wendon centre, Liverpool, on Sunday, December 10.
In the under-10s, first contestant Gordon Reid won a silver medal in his weight division.
Naomi Cole entered the under-40kg and over-40kg divisions taking gold in both divisions.
Naomi has won a gold medal in every tournament this year.
In 2001, she will go into the under-13 year-old division which will be harder but she will be sure to clean them up as well.
In the under-16s, we fielded four players.
Daniel Simmons and Steven Arnold, who also represented NSW at the Australian titles in June this year, were successful in their weight categories as well.
Daniel had to go up a division into the under-66kg even though he weighed in at 60.04kg.
He fought well against the heavier boys and won there. During his stay, he will enter the senior ranks when he turns 16 years old.
Holly Smith, also back from a four-year break, competed in the young women's division and with speed and agility took out the gold.
