Virtual visit to tallest building
Need to visit what is probably the tallest building on the Peninsula?
Then perhaps a virtual visit may be all that you require.
The Ettalong Beach Memorial Club has a flashy website that contains info which is not only for the information of members and their guests.
The site provides plenty of internal links to information about the club and an external link to Central Coast Tourism.
The internal links download a lot faster then the home page yet all the pages contain the same colourful theme and slick graphics.
There is plenty of info about the club's current and future activities, investment opportunities, enlarged maps of the local area, some information about the fast ferry service and an application for membership.
Unfortunately, the online membership application does not seem to be a reality yet as it failed to open when I visited.
The site appears to have been updated recently, as the information about the coming attractions includes stars lined up for the Christmas and New Years activities are prominently displayed in the coming attractions pages.
The site scores well at seven out of 10 and can be accessed at http://www.ettalongbeachclub.com.au
