Umina makes the semis

After the end of the preliminary rounds, Umina's first and third grade cricket sides were successful in making the semi-finals.
First grade finished minor premiers for the second successive year and third grade finished second.
The club also finished second in the club championship.
After completion of the first semi -final weekend, first grade were defeated by Kincumber. Umina made 51 in a reduced match, Kincumber passing the score four wickets down.
As a result Kincumber progressed through to the grand final, while Umina take on Gosford this weekend at Baker Park, Wyong.
In third grade, Umina defeated Kincumber.
Umina scored 161 from 50 overs then dismissed Kincumber for 126, John Alchin and Scott Fisher both taking four wickets.
