Council seeks boat ramp funds

Gosford Council is seeking a dollar-for-dollar grant from the Waterways Authority for the Patonga boat ramp, car park and foreshore projects.
The council has already received $10,000 for work on the Rawson Rd wharf at Woy Woy South.
The wharfhead will be replaced and a seat will be installed.
Other projects being considered for Waterways funding include the provision of sewerage pumpout facilities, upgrading of small boat harbours, and feasibility studies for other infrastructure projects.
